Muovi is piece for vocal trio, plastic objects and electronics. The vocalists are imitating sounds of plastic machines creating a rich and meditative soundscape. Plastic is versatile: it can be flexible and bend without breaking, there is fluidity and continuation – but then again plastic can be hard and snappy. Plastic has a bad reputation as a demonized material. Can we find compassion towards the machines if we start to speak their language?
