Hybridi is a piece reflecting on embodiment in playing. Embodiment is viewed from the angle of a single musician and as well as from the point of view of multiple bodies. What kind of interactions musicians have with their own instruments and how do the performers affect each other? The two violinists form different kinds of hybrids of bodies and instruments, emphasized with experimental bows.
